ABOUT THE TOURS
There is no better way to start or end your day than discovering the wild side of Telegraph Creek, an unspoiled gem worth discovering off the Caloosahatchee River. If you are visiting Southwest Florida looking for a peaceful getaway in nature exploring the "real" Florida and some of its wildlife, Telegraph could be the perfect location for you. It will feel as if you have it all to yourself with a good chance of sightings! Located roughly a 30-minute drive away from Downtown Fort Myers, those visiting will want to add this to their list of activities or sights to see. Whether it's a day tour exploring nature and enjoying the most beautiful views on the water, a romantic sunset adventure, or a nighttime glow tour, you will find Telegraph to be breathtaking! *(Night glow tours are not yet available!)*

Our tour guides will take you through historical Alva's hidden gem where you can expect an easy and relaxing paddle upstream, float back down to the Caloosahatee River for a great view, and then back to the launch site near the Caloosahatchee. We will make a couple of stops along the way where guests can take a break if needed and to enjoy their surroundings. Birds, gators, fish, turtles, local farm animals, dolphins, and other forms of wildlife may also make an appearance along your journey. Whether you're a beginner or an expert paddler, our tours are suitable for all skill levels and provides an unforgettable experience.
Fun Fact: Up until 2019, the area was once home to a wild animal farm housing llamas, zebras, sheep, goats, horses, cows, and more! Today, you can still see cows, goats, and horses.
Don't forget we also offer tour packages if you do not want to take your own. Our guides are great photographers too!
